Do you have portfolios with photos of weddings you have planned? We have some photos that our Bride’s have shared with us. However, since our Brides design their own weddings we cannot take credit for the beautiful photos!
Can we hire you to plan the entire event? Perhaps. We prefer the bridal couple to plan the event so it represents what they want and what they can afford without our own bias. We have planned weddings for out-of-town couples but that requires an individualized package created to meet their needs.
Are there any details you won’t handle? Signing contracts with vendors or payment of vendors.
Can we conduct business by fax, phone, or email? Yes. We prefer face to face meetings but other communications can work well too.
Do you have any service providers that will offer your clients a discount? No. We choose to stay neutral and allow the couple to choose the vendor that best suits their needs.
What would the process be for selecting and hiring vendors for our wedding? The selection and hiring process would be up to the couple. We are happy to discuss your selection with you, give you ideas on what direction to take, or attend a meeting with you and your vendor.
Do you like to take complete control, or do you welcome our ideas and participation? It is imperative that we work together to make sure the wedding is exactly what you want. On the wedding day we will take control so you can relax and just enjoy the day knowing all the details will be taken care of for you.
How many other events will you be organizing that day? No other events. In order to give the event our full attention we only commit to one event at a time.
How many people on your staff will be at the wedding? Usually one. Two if the wedding is larger then 300 guests and/or has more then 15 attendants. All staff are equally prepared and equally trained.
How will your staff be dressed? We will dress to blend in with the wedding guest attire as discussed with the bridal couple.
What happens if you are ill on the day of the event? If an illness occurs then the other coordinator will take over. All details will be thoroughly discussed and you won’t even notice the difference. In all of our years of service we have not had that happen yet, however, in the event another coordinator is unavailable all monies will be refunded and the itineraries provided.
Do you require meals? No. It is nice to have food available if possible.
Will you travel if necessary? Yes. The majority of our weddings have been located in Duluth and the Twin Cities area. We have traveled as far as California to coordinate a wedding. Travel expenses apply.
Do you decorate? Our three largest packages have extra time that can be used for us to coordinate decorating. However, it is important to note that if we are decorating, we will not be available for other things that may come up during that time. We also have decorating coordination as an ala carte item.
