Outdoor weddings

Is an outdoor wedding right for you?

Do you have a flexible personality?  Can you easily make adjustments at the last minute with ease and humor?

Does the vision of your ceremony fit what an outdoor wedding offers?  For example, if you are set on your families minister performing the ceremony make sure he/she will perform outdoor weddings.

Are you prepared for the extra costs? Often outdoor weddings are more costly then a traditional indoor wedding.  We can help you find ways to save on the costs but the need for a back up plan (like renting tents) can be costly.

Do you have family members or guests that will need easy access to your wedding location?  Often outdoor locations are not easily accessible.

We specialize in organizing and coordinating weddings in many different outdoor settings. See our article in the Duluth Bridal Show magazine for more tips and ideas.

There are many places in our region along the North Shore and in State Parks that draw people to create their perfect wedding in an outdoor setting.

Outdoor weddings can be fun but risky due to unpredictable weather.  That is easy to solve with a good back up plan.

We can help you find a back plan that is cost effective while still meeting your wedding vision.

Our wireless radio system allows us to have constant communication in the outdoor setting to make sure the ceremony runs smoothly and the bridal party, family, and guests are taken care of in the wide open space.

Both Sheila Nyback and Tanya Jackson were resources for us from the beginning, and as we worked through the planning for our “dream” wedding we would hardly make a decision without getting their feedback. Brides Best Friend is not the stereotypical “wedding planner;” they will not plan your wedding for you, with all the pressure to work with preferred vendors, etc. Sheila and Tanya want to understand what your vision is as a couple, and they act as a library for ways to get you there. Where they really shine is the week of, and especially day of, your wedding. With them, you create a plan for your wedding and they are there to help execute it. All of the minutia that can lead to “bridezilla syndrome” is taken off your plate, and they handle every single detail so that you are free to enjoy the time with your family and friends. Think about it: you’ve spent months planning this special day and it will fly by as it is, but with Sheila and Tanya there you will be able to relax and savor it.
